You have a long family history in Indonesia.
Can you tell us about it?
D:
My mother’s family comes from Indonesia. Her
mother was born in Manado. My great great
grandma was owner of the famous Hotel Des
Indes in Tanah Abang ( see picture early
20th century), Hotel Der Nederlanden and a
large part of Tanah Abang. She was also a
great chef whose knowledge was passed on to
me by my mum (also a chef).
L:
What is your favorite EP food and what kind
of food is your specialty?
D:
Saag Ghost Lamb! My specialty is Indonesian
cuisine, but I can cook pretty much
everything.
L:
Favorite drink?
D:
Beer Bintang
L: What else do you enjoy doing besides
cooking?
D:
Indonesian Martial Arts and playing with my
son.
L: You in a few words?
D:
I was born to cook! Hahaha… |
